How to enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) on your Ymonitor account

  1. Go to “My Profile”

     

  2. Click on the “MFA” toggle. (Gray means MFA is disabled. Yellow means MFA is enabled)

     

  3. Save your updated profile settings

     

  4. Once MFA has been enabled for your account, you will be logged out. You'll need to install an application (such as Authy, FreeOTP, Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator for Windows mobile) on your mobile device. Once the app is installed, open the app and scan the QR code shown on the Ymonitor website with your mobile device. The verification app will provide a six-digit code that you can enter to complete the setup process.

     

  5. Once MFA is setup for your account, you will be asked for a six-digit code provided by the verification app each time you log in to Ymonitor after you enter your username and password. If you replace your mobile device or uninstall the verification app, you can contact Ymonitor support in order to set up MFA again for your account.
