Service documentation

You can navigate service documentation page in two ways; via the

Open

 button in the header on Ymonitor page and by clicking on the

Open

 button that is on top right of the 'Compare screenshots' page.

Service documentation page shows the details regarding the service you selected. These details will include the administrator, the description of the service, as well as screenshots and descriptions of all the transactions that are measured for that service. The screenshots and the descriptions are automatically uploaded to this page via a special script run. However, it is also possible to edit these details via the 'Edit' button that is located next to each transaction.

After you select a service in the left menu, two buttons appear on top right in Service Documentation page:

The first button in the row is the 'Tresholds' button. By clicking on this button, the availability, performance and APDEX thresholds of the currently selected service will be shown. The threshold is the value a measurement has to reach before the colour in Ymonitor will change. Below image shows the values that are set for 3 situations.

If the measurement of the transaction is completed in less than 1.258 seconds, that will be shown in green in Ymonitor. If the measurement of the transaction takes more than 1.585 seconds, that will be shown in red in Ymonitor. If the measurement of the transaction lasts between 1.258 and1.585 seconds, that will be shown in orange in Ymonitor.

Next to the tresholds botton, is the 'Download PDF' button. When you press this button, Ymonitor will create a PDF of the currently selected view and time selection within a few seconds.
