Screenshot compare

Under 'Error' tab of the menubar on Ymonitor page, you can see the amount of errors (failed transactions) there have been over the selected period. If you click on one of the bars, you will get a list of errors occurred in that timeframe.

On the right side, next to the error 'Message', there is a download icon under 'Screenshot' column. If you click on the download icon, you can download screenshots showing what our tooling saw at the moment of the error.

There is another button available next to the download button, which is 'Compare screenshots'. This button brings you to the page containing the comparison screenshot residing on the left and the error screenshot on the right side.

• The error screenshot is the screenshot showing what our tooling saw at the moment of the error.

• The comparison screenshot is the screenshot that is taken during a successful measurement, so the expected view during script run for the transaction in question.

In addition to the screenshots, there is other information regarding what you can expect from the transaction and the error occurred.

Above error screenshot, you can see the sentinel name where the error occurs and the error message (a clue on what is going wrong). Above comparison screenshot, you can see the name of the transaction and the description of the transaction (what the script does for this transaction). This information is taken from the Service documentation page.
